Erockus Arcade

Erockus Arcade is a frontend for MAME, which aims to make using this popular arcade machine emulator easier and more accessible. Like with most frontends, this software does not include MAME itself, so you will have to download it separately. And, of course, it also does not include any ROMs or video games, which you will need to download manually from other sources.

The first time you run Erockus Arcade you will have to select the folder where the MAME executable is located, which will complete the program's installation. This process is very simple and only takes a few seconds. The software's interface then becomes exactly the same as the frontend, with the joystick on the left and colored buttons on the right. Within this interface you will have to click directly on the buttons you want to press.

One of Erockus Arcade's most remarkable aspects is the great amount of options that you have at your disposal to customize your experience both with MAME and with the frontend itself. For example, the Video Settings has over 30 different customizable parameters, including the possibility of adding image filters or preserving the games' original aspect ratios. On the other hand, from the Control Settings, you can connect several keyboards or infrared guns. Bear in mind that special screens are required to play with these infrared guns.
